Warranty & Returns

 

Warranty


We offer various levels of warranty. Each item will have a warranty level specified
in the individual listings.

Below are the warranty offered for new, refurbished and pre-owned items. Each
category offers a different length of warranty depending on the individual item.


New Items:

Manufacturer - Warranty for this item is provided by the manufacturer as specified
either in writing or the manufacturer's website.

Standard New - 90 days (3 months) from date of delivery. This covers items that are
brand new boxed or open box not covered by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's
warranty has expired.

Extended New - 180 days (6 months) from date of delivery. This covers items that are
brand new boxed or open box not covered by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's
warranty has expired.

Extended Plus New - 12 months from date of delivery. This covers items that are brand
new boxed or open box not covered by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's warranty
has expired.

Items listed with Standard New, Extended New or Extended New Plus warranty basically
have their warranty assigned based on different internal factors. For example two different
items which are new open box can be assigned different levels of warranty. One can be 6
months while the other can be 12 months.

 

Refurbished Items:

Refurbished Standard - 90 days (3 months) from date of delivery.
Refurbished Extended - 180 days (6 months) from date of delivery.
Refurbished Extended Plus - 12 months from date of delivery.

 

Pre-Owned Items:

Pre-Owned Standard - 30 days from date of delivery.
Pre-Owned Extended - 90 days (3 months) from date of delivery.
Pre-Owned Extended Plus - 180 days (6 months) from date of delivery.

 

Clearance Items*:

Clearance Standard - No warranty at all. This covers items that are on clearance sold as is.
*Some clearance items may still have warranty and will be noted in the individual listings.

 

For Parts:

Parts Standard - No warranty for this item. This covers items that are sold as is for parts
or repairs.

 


Returns

In order to return an item we must issue an RMA number. Contact us first within 15 days
of receipt to initiate the return process. Returned items are subject to a 20 percent restocking
fee. We encounter people who want to use the trail and error method

when purchasing parts. We discourage this method and will reduce the amount
of a refund for items not shipped back in the original condition.
The return process is as follows:

  • Contact us via email with your name, item order number, purchase date and whether you
    want 
    a refund or an exchange.
  • We issue you an RMA #.
  • The item must be returned within 15 days of the RMA being issued.
  • Once the item is returned we will inspect it and verify the serial number or other identifiable
    source.
  • In some cases the item will be tested if necessary. If all the criteria are met we will then
    process the refund or exchange.


In a case where an item arrives damaged, report it to us as soon as received.
Leave the item as received and keep the original packaging for the carrier to inspect.

We record all serial numbers or mark our items in order to prevent fraud. If we notice an indication
of fraud we have the right to deny a return claim. We take fraud and scamming very seriously and
will work with authorities if necessary to deal with these issues.
